Mutt Show Contest
Of course, the featured activity is the Mutt Show Contest, where dogs and their owners compete to be crowned Best in Show! All dogs can participate in and win the individual categories, but only a mutt can be crowned Top Dog. The categories are: Best Kisser, Best Vocal Performance, Highest Jumper, Most Unusual Mutt, Most Creative Pet Trick, "A Face Only a Mother Could Love", Best Dressed, and Crowd Favorite. Each contest winner will receive a gift box containing the following:

Individual category winners will then move on to the final round, where the First, Second, and Third place winners will be selected. Photo Area
A professional photographer will be on site from 11:30am until 3:30pm. You can get a FREE souvenir Great American Mutt Show photo with your pup which will be printed on-site!

On-Stage Demonstrations
Officer Judy Velazquez and her canine partner will show us how the K9 unit helps crack down on criminals.

Susan Frank from Wild About Pets will be demonstrating Pet First Aid techniques.

Doggy Cupcakes from Good Squared
Paula from Good Squared will be giving out free doggy cupcake samples. These are her fantastic fresh-baked goodies that your dog will do backflips for...be sure to stop by.

Caricatures
Marlene Goodman will be on-site from Noon to 5pm doing her awesome caricatures. Those of you who have seen her work know that she has a unique style that somehow manages to capture each dog's individual personality.

There will also be all kinds of other vendors with lots of great stuff to do and look at. It'll be a blast for you and your pup!
